Hello Everyone,
With the cold weather this week attendance numbers have been down. Yesterday we played a Chapter 5 review game for the test today and second period students began working on their Chapter 6 B-thrild chapter overview.
Today buses were running late so students worked on their B-thrild first period and chapter 6 vocabulary. They are to write the definition, use the word in a sentence and draw a picture for each vocab word. Second period students wrote their chapter 5 test.
Due Dates:
Iwakura Mission comic is past due
Limerick is due Wednesday March 11
Chapter 6 B-thrild is due Thursday March 12

Monday's Class
Today in class I requested interims to be returned by Wednesday March 4 due to the grade 8 ski trip happening tomorrow.
We listened to chapter 18 of Samurai Shortstop. Students were given their next citizenship log which is due April 7. We corrected the fill in the blanks activity from last week and students submitted it when they were finished being marked. We also completed a class activity on imagery and figurative language and to finish our second class students worked on a chapter 5 note-taking activity which will be due on Wednesday March 4, 2009.
The chapter 5 test will be on Monday of next week.
